Jointing System
Jointing system is important in any piping system when pipe length is limited. As a result, pipe joints must be used to create a continuous piping network. The ORI Jointing System is a good solution for projects that require strong connections in long and complex pipeline systems.
The main components of the ORI Jointing System are: Butt and Wrap, Flange
Butt & wrap laminated joints are made by joining two pieces of pipe & then interlaying Chopped Strand Mat & Woven Roving in pre-defined sequence. The width & thickness of the Butt & wrap joint are calculated based on pressure class to suit the customer’s requirement.
Flanges are made on a standard pipe, by hand lay-up process. The flange laminate is built up using C-Veil, Chopped Strand Mat & Woven Roving combination. Drilling patterns are available on request. Full-faced elastomeric gaskets may be used, suitable for the service pressure, service temperature and fluid.
