On May 31, 2024, PT. ORI Polytec Composites held a Family Gathering Program which took place at Taman Safari Bogor.

Employee Gathering or Family Gathering is a program to strengthen social relations between employees at PT. ORI Polytec Composites and their family members so that they can get to recognize each other well which cannot be done during daily working hours. This program can also increase motivation and teamwork.

This year’s Family Gathering event certainly has a special theme, namely: Outstanding, Resilience, Innovative, which is abbreviated as O.R.I. The theme is a simple sentence that is easy to remember and brings positive energy to employees, namely: “Forget the Fails, Keep the Lessons.”

In 2023, PT. ORI Polytec Composites also held an Indonesian independence celebration. This activity was held on August 19, 2023, starting at 08.00 WIB and ending at 17.00 WIB.

Various types of competitions were held, namely the eggplant balloon competition, the togetherness sarong competition, the chopsticks peanut competition, the biscuit eating competition, the rubber face competition, and the peak was the lip-sync competition.

The competition event was also held to strengthen solidarity between ORI employees. This event was very lively and invited laughter from employees so that it could relieve tension in between work. For example, the make-up competition made employees cheer each other on. In addition, there were several other competitions aimed at training strategy & teamwork. All employees were divided into several teams based on their respective departments.

Another benefit of this event is that employees can get to know each other, especially those in different departments. In addition, the competition also trains employees to be sporty and respectful to other teams in any condition. Hopefully, all of this goodness can be reflected in their work.

“This activity is also a series of social care for others”. There are around 200 employees who registered, but from the health screening results, 180 people passed,” explained the Head of HRGA Division of PT. ORI Polytec Composites, Bernadetha Ginting. “We realize how important positive activities such as blood donation are for the health of donors, especially for those who need blood transfusions. This is the first activity at PT. ORI Polytec Composites, in the future it will be held every three months,” she added.

One of the participants, Cheisya, stated that this was not her first experience as a blood donor. “The last time I donated blood was about six years ago. This time, I was motivated to participate because it was held at my workplace, so it was easy to reach,” she said. “In addition, the body also becomes healthier because donating blood encourages the re-production of blood cells,” added Cheisya, who is usually placed in the Project division.

Unlike Cheisya, Ery Andrian said this was her first time donating blood. “This is my first time donating blood. I was always scared before. After doing it, it turned out to be not as scary as I imagined,” she said, smiling sweetly. “Hopefully it will be useful and can help people who need blood transfusions,” concluded the female engineer who joined the Cost Control division.
